Amazing experience! Was in a motorcycle accident and they got me right in. Dr Shaughnessy was awesome. Very informative and reassuring. Got me pretty much back to normal in 11 weeks with no surgery. The treatment that I received from The Hand Center was exceptional my procedure was explained in-depth before it happened and when I had more questions they were thoroughly answered before the procedure was ever scheduled once the procedure was scheduled I went in as planned and my recovery was quicker than anticipated I highly recommend this facility.

My mom broke her elbow and needed surgery. Dr. Mastella saw my mom and within a week had surgery. Her injury was more complicated and needed time to heal. The therapists went above and beyond giving my mom home exercises to do as she wasn’t able to drive. Dr. Mastella, Chris Dillon and ALL of the therapists went above and beyond helping her get back to normal. Also the receptionist in the therapy department always had a smile and was very friendly. Great staff great experience.
I'm not sure how they keep their doors open. I was able to make my appt with the PA easily enough. It was the follow up with the surgeon that never happened. I called 3xs to schedule the surgery and somehow my message never got from the receptionist to the PA or the PA never wrote her report moving me along to the surgeon. I waited 1 month and have still not heard back from them to schedule the appt. I have since called another surgery center and within 1 week I have an appt for surgery.
Dr. McCarthy and Catherine Giuliano OTR/L are a great team! After sustaining two fractured fingers and having surgical repair, with their expertise and encouragement my fingers healed well and continue to show improvement one year later! I am grateful for the team approach at the Hand Center and that Dr. McCarthy and Cat listened to my concerns and addressed all my questions. I highly recommend both for any services which they can provide for you. Phenomenal professionals/phenomenal care and follow-through.
All of my experiences at the Hand Center have been nothing short of excellent. I have been seen by Chris Dillon several times and he is absolutely wonderful! He is quiet-natured, very pleasant and caring, and always takes time to listen and answer all of my questions. Appointments are never rushed, and I always feel so well taken care of! Highly recommend!
Very professional and accommodating office, therapy and radiology staff. Dr. McCarthy has been very professional, personable, and thoughtful since the first time I met him. I have never left his care feeling rushed or with any any unanswered questions. I feel confident in his care!
